Food& Drink
There is a dining hall where students are provided four different dishes for only 0,5 Euros with their student cards. Alternatively, they can also eat at cafes and restaurants around the campus which offer various tastes. Also, there are cafeterias in student dormitories. There are many restaurants, cafes and entertainment centers in the downtown of Bartın and seaside towns.


Medical Facilities
The Medico-Social Center serves to protect the physical and mental health of our students. There is 1 doctor, 1 dentist, 1 dietitian, 1 psychologist and 2 nurses serving in the center. International students who want to study in Turkey need to get a general health insurance applying to the Provincial Directorate of Social Security Institution with a written petition in three months following their registration date to the university. If an international student does not apply for that insurance to the related institution in a given time, s/he will not be able to benefit from the state insurance service during their study period.

IT Services
Bartın University is a member of eduroam – education roaming service. With this membership, students of Bartın University can benefit from wireless internet service in other member institutions in and outside Turkey. The university has highly-developed computer labs.

What is Eduroam?
Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) is a radius-based authentication that users can connect to the internet in the institutions they visit.

Users of Eduroam member institutions can connect to the wireless network at another eduroam member institution with their portable computers using their own username and passwords. Many universities in 33 countries around the world have joined eduroam. Date list of participating universities in Turkey can be seen from the ULAKBIM web site.

Our University has advanced computer laboratory facilities.


Library
Acting with the awareness that knowledge is a day, our university has made license agreements as a member of major consortiums and organizations in the field of librarianship such as ANKOS (Anatolian University Libraries Consortium) and TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM (National Academic Network and Information Center) so that our academicians and students can easily access the information they need and  has opened many databases.

Conditions for Using the Library
To become a member of our library, it is compulsory to be a student of our university. Readers from outside the university can use library resources, but cannot become members. The number of publications that can be borrowed from the library and the borrowing periods are as follows:

• Academic staff and graduate and doctoral students; Maximum 5 (five) books for a period of 30 days,
• Administrative Staff and Associate and Undergraduate Students can borrow up to 3 (three) books for a period of 15 days.

Social Life
Bartın University Spring Festivals: Our students have fun with music, theater and sports activities in the spring festivals held every year. 

International Students Club: It is a student club that our international students established in accordance with the Directive on Student Clubs. The short name of the club is UAO Club. The club's academic advisor is Instuctor Betül Göktaş. The aim of this student club is to enable Bartın University's international students to be active in social, cultural and sports fields, and to ensure cooperation and information sharing among international students. The General Assembly convenes at least twice a year, one at the beginning of the academic year and the other at the end of the academic year.

Activity Fields of the Club

• To organize special days for the promotion of foreign cultures, 

• To organize activities such as cultural events, picnics, excursions, sports days for international students,
• To organize activities that will ensure solidarity among international students.
